India Post GDS Selection Process

1. Merit List Based on 10th Marks
   • No written exam; selection is based on Class 10th percentage.
   • In case of a tie, the older candidate (by Date of Birth) will be given preference.
2. Document Verification (DV) Process
   • Shortlisted candidates will receive an SMS/email about DV.
   • Candidates must bring original documents for verification.
   • Providing incorrect information will lead to disqualification.
3. Final Selection & Engagement Offer
   • Upon successful document verification, a provisional engagement offer will be issued via SMS/email.
